This is a good local swimming pool with friendly staff and customers. The facilities are well looked after.
It’s rarely busy so most of the time I get a lane to myself during public swimming sessions. There had been issues with overheating during the winter months, but the pool temperature is now fairly steady at around 28ºC, perfect for swim training. The water depth ranges from about 1.2 to 3.5m. Starter blocks are installed at the deep end of the pool.
A range of swim training aids (e.g., kickboard and pull-buoys) are available for use free of charge. Car parking is free and there are covered bike racks.
I have been swimming here for many years and prefer this pool over all other pools I have tried in Dundee. The charges are lower, too.
Sadly, it has just been announced that the pool and gym may be closing by the end of June, 2025.
