The lockers in the changing village still take the old £1 coins or supermarket tokens, which the reception does not stock; but you can take your valuables to the pool-side where they are safe. During lane swimming sessions the pool is divided into three sections, each as wide as a couple of ordinary lanes, which means that when it is quiet - as it was between 12 and 1 on a Monday- you can swim round endlessly. There are drinks and sweet vending machines. Overall it was a pleasant visit.
