I was there this morning (a Friday morning in April) and was surprised not to see anybody. But I immediately found the automatic ticket machine (pay by cash or credit card) with minimum explanations. So you'll need to have the famous 20 DKK coin before coming as you won't get change from the ticket machine.
The facilities were quite clean and there were not a lot of swimmers. Pull buoys were available. It was a good experience.
