The pool is in a basement, with no windows, and it is VERY shallow in the shallow end. It does appear to be 25 yards long. The water seemed warmer than the 84º shown in the listing.
There are not many pools in Center City Philadelphia, but this is a place where one can go once, for 30 minutes, for a $15 fee. They have monthly memberships but there is often a waitlist to get in. Even if you are doing the "trial" one-time visit (i.e., traveling to Philly), you have to sign up for a lane in advance - the lanes are narrow, so everyone gets their own lane, but I was able to reserve with only a day's notice.
The people who work there are very nice and welcoming. The showers are spa-like! They do lessons for kids through adults and there are some fitness classes as well.
