All the amenities of modern pools—high ceiling, zero-depth entry, spouting kiddie fountains, clean plastic lockers, and a terrific athletic pool with thick lane striping and backstroke flags. Like many newer lap pools, this one is shallow, never more than five feet. Expect swimmers serious in the pool, cordial in the locker rooms. In the locker room I learned that the morning adult lap session is crowded and that Locker #11 is the unofficial lost and found for women. The pool offers a range of swim equipment—kickboards, pull-buoys, foam barbells, and noodles.
