It's awful that the pool can only be used for swimming widths in the deep end, as half of the pool is always sectioned off for younger children. This used to be a great place for a swim. The new layout is terrible!

Facility Notes
Although we describe the pool as being 25m long, based on the review received in March, 2014, it appeared that the pool had been turned-around so length swimming there wass actually width swimming. We don't know how wide the pool is but, in all likelihood, it's just 12½ metres.
When we checked the schedule most recently (in December, 2023), it appeared that the six-lane length swimming sessions were scheduled for 1 hour and 20 minutes on alternating evenings, so the width swimming situation is resolved. You'll want to contact this pool in advance, before you go, owing to the limited number of sessions available..
