Fairmont Hot Springs Resort

I was there when there were no other swimmers in the indoor pool. They wanted a fee for drop-in swimmers, but I do not remember if there were specific hours for drop-ins. They would have let me swim, but I couldn't figure out where, since the pool was a long approximately 50 yards/meters long and they had it roped off about 3/4 of the way down the length of pool. I asked them about this because it did not make sense to me. Then I figured out they did not want me to swim the length of the pool, they wanted me to do laps across the width of the pool. The width only looked 45-50 feet wide, so it was not set up for an experienced swimmer.

It looked like a nice resort, however, so someone may want to consider the other amenities that the resort has to offer.

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has several indoor and outdoor pools with different water temperatures. Swimming laps can be a challenge due to the crowd. During off hours and school days lap swimming is fine. Locker rooms are very basic and a little dirty.
