This is an okay pool for laps in a very convenient location near the upper end of La Rambla. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. The water temperature is a bit warm, the pool a bit short (20m), and the women's locker room is HUGE! (Bring your own lock; I was able to borrow one the first time I visited but was told not to count on that.) Pull buoys and kickboards are available on the pool deck.
I swam three times, once on a weekend and twice on weekdays, avoiding the busiest hours according to the staff (before noon and after 5 PM). I had a lane to myself for some amount of each swim, and no more than three people at the most. The pool was mixed use every time I visited.
I prefer the Olympic pool on Montjuic, but this pool is more centrally located.
