Facility Notes
The pool closed in December, 2018, presumably due to the effects of old age. In March, 2019, the local council approved the construction of a replacement in the same location, but it will be many years before the design can be drawn-up and approved, contracts can be let, and construction begun. [April, 2019]
This leaves the Stadtteilbad Eutingen as the only year-round pool remaining in Pforzheim. Summertime visitors can still access the city's two outdoor pools (more information about them HERE), although there are questions as to how long one of them will be able to continue operations before a massive reconstruction is required there, too.
The pool is kept at 27ºC, except on "warm water days", when the temperature is raised to 30ºC (86ºF).
