This is a family-oriented facility. Neither of the pools here are ever laned, so if you want a good training session go during the day, before 3:30 PM, or during one of the adult-only sessions. There's also a small steam room and sauna. Mixed changing/showers with individual changing rooms. A 20p coin is needed for lockers. I find water the temperature perfect for training.

I find the East End Pool temperature VERY cold at times and it is quite off putting. That is why I tend to avoid the pool in the spring and winter! My friends and I have often commented on the pool temperature but nothing ever gets done about it.
