Usually busy, the pool is rarely set up for 50m lengths. It's usually divided up and rarely for lane swimming, except for lunchtime or as part of a club meet. Poor swimmers INSIST on doing breadths and I always leave feeling utterly stressed.This could be a fantastic pool facility and, if used as per Edinburgh Commonwealth, would be 90% of the way there, but the management and users are not inclined towards lap swimming.
