This is a clean, well-run facility with multiple pools in the center of Trier. At 7 PM on a weeknight, there were four 25-meter lanes set up for laps and enough room for all. The water temperature was on the cool side. Kickboards, pull buoys, etc. are not available: bring your own if you can.
There are two entry prices: a one-hour and a 3½ hour formula. Considering that the time starts from the moment you pay the entry fee, the one-hour rate might leave time for only a short swim.
They use an electronic bracelet system; the bracelet works as a key for both the lockers for your valuables (before entering the locker room) and the clothing lockers. You place the bracelet between the locker number and the red light to lock and unlock.
The parking lot behind the facility is free after 6 PM. A limited selection of caps, suits, and goggles is available for sale.
