Crowne Plaza Dubai - Festival City

The Crowne Plaza is colocated with the Intercontinental Hotel at Festival City, which also has a 25m pool on a shared terrace. Guests from the Crowne Plaza can walk past one pool and get to the other, and vice versa. The Intercontinental's pool is 25m long and has a plexiglass end that projects over the street below.

This pool is open from 7 AM to 10 PM and in the full desert sun most of the day. It's not well lit for evening swimming, some LED-type lights on the bottom perimeter, and the lanes are not marked on the bottom, one has to pay attention at night. Having said that, this is a pretty great hotel pool. It's crystal clean, has lanes, not crowded (and this hotel is packed), a full 25 meters. There are other pools for kids and for playing around so that takes pressure off this pool.
