Corning Community YMCA

This is an exceptional YMCA. The whole place shows a great deal of attention. The pool is six lanes wide, two appear to be permanently kept for kids and water activity. There is a water slide into this area. There is also a second, smaller wading pool. In the main pool, lap swimming availability is all day. For 45 mins at 5 PM on a Wednesday there was only one other person in the water. It's a relatively shallow pool for laps but didn't feel slow. The locker rooms are really well maintained. So, a great place to swim. And right next door is the Corning Museum of Glass. A tremendous double act.

Amazing lap pool. Great youth programs. Has a zero-depth entry kiddie pool. Great staff. The water slide was epic! The sauna, steam room, and spa were a plus. I can't wait to go back!
