Complejo Acuático Virgen del Carmen Piscinas III & IV

I visited Virgen del Carmen yesterday. I made all of the arrangements by phone in the morning and was told to come along between certain hours and access would be fine. We walked in the blazing heat from our hotel for 30 minutes, only to be treated really badly by the reception male ‘guards’ who refused to speak to us because they did not speak English and refused to find anyone that did. They deliberately did everything possible to prevent non-Spanish people from attending. I would avoid this place at all costs.

This is a modern, outdoor facility with indoor changing rooms. It was very pleasant swimming with a view of the hills and perfect water temperature But the wind may blow the smoke of the heating system over the pool a bit, which is not very pleasant...

Access through the city's website can be a bit complicated because it requires an account and an ID number; in the end, I was able to buy a ticket after account creation when selecting "OTR" as ID type.
