I am a member of this club. The important thing to understand is the club is primarily a tennis club. Swimming facilities are not the priority, but the pools are well maintained. The lap pool is generally not maintained at temperatures conducive to serious workouts - generally overheated in the winter, and under cooled in the summer. The stated maintained temperature is a joke. An aerator system was purchased several years ago, but is seldom or inconsistently used in summer months. It is never run during the day for fear that the kids will mess with it.
The statement that play is not allowed in the lap pool is unfortunately inaccurate, as no staff is at this pool to enforce. It is adjacent to the rec. pool, so kids often migrate over. This is generally an issue only during summer months on weekends. The pool can be over chlorinated at times.
