The pool is closed:
On the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month (open if Monday is a national holiday) and year-end and New Year holidays (12/29-1/3).
Closed if the end of the year falls on the 5th Monday.
Closed only on the first Monday in August.
The facility may be temporarily closed for construction work, pool drain cleaning, etc.

Very clean and nice facility. Two of the lanes are reserved for walking. Very nice, non-English speakers to help with ticket purchase from vending booth. The pool is cleared (no swimming) for 10 minutes each hour, which is standard operating procedure in Japan.
