Most of the swimmers here are serious rather than pleasure oriented. The main pool is often used for competitions and other major events but even so, the sub pool (2nd 50m pool) is usually open to the public.

Facility Notes
The pool is located in front of the JR Keiyo Line's Shin-Narashino Station.
The pool is closed on the third Monday of every month (second Monday if the third Monday falls on a national holiday), over the New Year's holiday - December 28th to January 4th of the following year. and two weeks each are set aside in November and February for machine maintenance work.
Most of the links on the pool's home page ("Website" link, above) are Japanese-language PDFs that are difficult to translate automatically, but the right-most button on the site's menu connects to the facility's sitemap, which it in standard HTML and can be translated automatically if using a Chrome or Edge browser.
A site visitor mentioned that the main pool has a lane that's used exclusively for diving starts. He also mentioned that the pool was "a little on the cool side with the temperature of 29-30°C (84-86°F)"; that's actually a bit on the warm side for us, but standard swimming pool temps. in Japan are different from the U.S. Japanese pools whose temperatures we have been able to find are usually kept at about 30ºC (86ºF), as opposed to a U.S. standard of 27º - 29ºC (81º - 84ºF).
