Facility Notes

In addition to the main, 10 lane section, there are two sections with three to five outdoor lanes in winter.

Formerly an outdoor, summer-only pool, the tank was tented and converted to year-round use in 2016. The side sections of the tenting can be raised or removed in summer.

In summer, the pool is open to the public until 4:30 PM, after which it is reserved for Chastain Athletic Club members only.

This is a very pleasant place to swim in the summer, with many lounge chairs in either sun or shade for relaxing after. There are frequent youth team practices, but they promise to have at least a few lanes open for laps. Separate play pools give those not doing laps somewhere else to go.
