The 50m pool is one of the best available anywhere, but it's open only on Wed. and Sat. in the winter, at erratic (and crowded) times; it's open all day, everyday in the summer, but only 2 lanes are available for lap swimming and kids playing with theropes test one's patience. The changing room system enforced in all Milan pools also requires patience: no personal lockers, clothes are left at a general facility and swimming bags (with valuables, unless separately checked) are kept poolside.
