The Capella Aquatic Centre can be summed up in one simple word...SUPERB.
The town has a population of just 900 people and in the lead-up to the Olympic Games, managed to secure funding to build a remarkable complex for such a small town. There is an eight-lane, 50m, Olympic pool; two smaller kids pools; a water slide; and a hydrotherapy pool. There is also a squash court and gym. It is open all year round, and even more remarkably (for such a small town), it is open until 9 PM on most nights.
