Anyone can be a community member or pay a $10 drop in fee to swim here. Parking is $3 an hour on weekdays after 7 AM and free on weekends. Masters swimmers now have an option to purchase night and weekend parking permits for $14/month. (For more on parking, see THIS PAGE)

General hours are: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Rec Diving Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. See the bottom of THIS PAGE for the full schedule.

The Masters use the 50m configuration from April to September; 25 yard configuration the rest of the year.

The UCSD pools are among the best in the county. Pool 1, above, is all-deep and used principally for team training, but leaves lots of lanes for recreation lap swimming. Lanes are usually set 25 yards, side-ways to the 50m length. The temperature is kept at 80ºF. year-round. There's a top quality Masters program, superb spa, and good locker room facilities. BEWARE: Parking is a pain when classes are in session; meters are enforced on weekends and holidays.
