The pools are beautiful, with lanes wide enough for two. The locker room, however, was not designed for privacy.

Facility Notes
The natatorium is owned jointly by the Canton City School District and the City of Canton Recreation Department, but neither devotes any space on its website for schedule or pricing information.
When we called to update this listing in October, 2019, we were told that the pool is usually open for lap swimming on weekdays from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM and sometimes has Saturday hours. Weekday hours may be curtailed in the event of a swim meet so, if you're hoping to swim here, a call in advance is strongly recommended.
In 2025 we discovered that the local Masters Swim team sometimes posts the current pool schedule on its website (see the link to the Masters Swim team website, above).

The pool is set for long course or short course, according to the season. When operated in short course format, a bulkhead is used to separate the 25 yard section from the rest of the pool, leaving a ~33 yard, 8 lane tank in the remainder of the 50 meter leg.
The Youth Swim team is sponsored by the local school district, but membership is open to all. The facility has hosted national and state championship swimming events.

The water was crystal clear and is kept very coolintentionally - nice for hard workout. Change in the locker room, sign-in on the deck, and put $1 in an envelope. The staff is friendly and helpful. The locker room is small but with functional lockers and showers. A great facility!
