A well used facility built in the 1980's. Not a destination worth a journey just to take a dip, but very useful if you happen to find yourself in the attractive High Peak town of Buxton. The facility's entrance is in the adjacent Pavilion Gardens.
The pool is laned for lap swimming early most weekday mornings (reasonable lane discipline is observed), but check the facility website for lap swimming schedules because one early session a week is taken out for employee training purposes.
