During a review of the listing in 2019, we were able to find updated price information on the city's website but the site suggested visiting the pools for detailed information. Open daily except Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. The water is coldest from May through September, but the pool remains open during that period.

The facility was the host of the December, 2014 African Union Region V Under 20 Youth Games.

I have spent many happy hours in and by the Bulawayo Municipal Pool - it is exceptionally well maintained for a country in such economic decline: beautiful sparkling water, with neat lawns maintained with pride.It is open from 9.30, with a one-hour lunch break during the day. Very, very busy in the afternoons and weekend, when it's full of happy children - the best time to go is very early morning when the whole 50m length is available. Warmly recommended!
