A local swimmer advises us that the pool management is resisting pressure from the "kicker and splasher set" to raise the water temperature. Lap swimmers should be vocal in their support of a facility management that's not allowing the pool to be dumbed-down/heated-up for less serious aquatic activities.

The facility opened in May, 1998.
