Brighouse Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre

The pool has lots of lessons, event activity stuff, and people playing, so lane swimming time is squeezed. and often weirdly timed. Plus, no one seemed to know when lap swimming was actually allowed. The water is about 82ºF (28ºC). I snatched a place next to the lane line in the public play section to swim.

The locker rooms use the village change concept and you need a pound for the locker, which is returned.

I happily recommend it. Good swimmers can just about expect to turn up at most public length swimming sessions and be able to train properly.
