This is a great place to swim. Someone designed this pool with lap swimmers in mind. It first appears as a walled-in, no natural light dungeon. But it has perfect lap lines, T-markers exactly where they should be, and lighting that is just right. There's little wave action, the water is clear, the bottom is clean, and the tiling looks excellent.
It's hard to predict when people will swim, but on a late Thursday morning in June, only one other person was in the pool during a 40-minute workout. Other times, it's a lot. And remarkably it's an American rarity; a 25-meter pool. Bring your own lock. Swim caps are not required.
