I swam here on a Friday afternoon and, although it was pretty busy, I had to share a lane with only one other swimmer. The 50m pool was set up as 25m lanes, most of which were available for lap swimming.
The pool is about a five-minute walk from the Središće tram stop. The entrance for the general public is on the second floor (there’s a disabled entrance available on the ground floor). Once you enter, there’s a ticket booth in front, and unisex changing cabins are available downstairs. Shoes have to be left with an attendant, but you can take your bag out to the pool deck. Be sure to bring slippers as the floors are a little grimy. Lockers are not available. Swim caps are required.
The pool itself is great for lap swimming, though it could be cleaner. Most of the staff speak a little English and everyone was very friendly and willing to help. Overall, it's a good place to swim near central Zagreb.
