I started swimming here after a 15-year break. So I have nothing to compare this pool with. But it seems clean and reasonably priced, and I don't need anything else to put it the maximum score. For demanding swimmers I bet the pool is at least worth a try.
You don't need a medical certificate to visit the pool, but the staff is authorized to refuse you entry, should they notice that you have skin problems (and there's no refund if they do).
