The water is often uncomfortably cold in the winter. Worst of all it is dirty. The tile surrounds are filthy and there are often used sticking plasters and hair bands on the side for days at a time. The water levels can change dramatically so sometimes the water washes over the dirty tiles and such objects are washed into the water. The floor of the pool is gritty and not adequately cleaned. It is such a pity as it could be one of the best pools in Manchester City Centre.
