Ayana Resort & Spa Bali

Single-swim admission is not available to members of the general public, unless registered as guests at the hotel.

Registered guests: Free.

Pool 1 has steps extending for the entire length of one side of the pool. There are photographs of Pool 2 that show one old-fashioned rope-and-plastic-bubble lane line; it's either there to create a lap swimming lane or to keep people away from the area where the water from Pool 1 falls into Pool 2.

Smart phones and other electronic devices are prohibited from the pool area between 9 AM and 5 PM, daily. (That's per a CNN article on its website in November, 2018. We'll see how long the policy holds up, going forward.)

Pool 1 is the Ayana Main Pool, which feeds Pool 2, known as the Ayana Lower Pool, by a waterfall from one side. If both pools are on the same circulation system, it is likely they are the coolest of the twelve pools on the resort property and possibly in all of Bali.

Several of the other pools at this resort are also quite large, although their irregular shapes might make swimming a challenge.
