Aquapolis

I live in Bassano and this pool is wonderful, although it is "warm", at perhaps 84ºF, which I love, but a lot of my faster swimmer friends don't. Some notes: They close during the week for siesta time, so check online for times. They do discount over 65. Do bring your own towel, and yes, bring a swim cap unless you have a shaved head, like I do. If you have your own lock for a locker bring one. ALSO, everyone wears some sort of swim-wear shoes/flip flops in the locker room.

This is a wonderful and relatively new facility in Bassano -- an oasis during the three seasons that the large outdoor swim complex Piscine Conca Verde in nearby Borso was closed. The facility also boasts a large workout facility as well. They have an excellent website. Just make sure you check the times for open lap swim before going. Bring your own towel -- and be advised that like most European pools you may need a swim cap. If you don't have one it will cost extra.
