The 25-meter pool is meant for lap swimming and nothing else - perfect! It's open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM. (The front office closes at 8 PM.) It's not very busy and you normally have your own lane until 4 PM; after 4 it's a training facility for the Clube Naval do Funchal and only one lane is open for individual swimmers. On Saturdays the pool closes a little earlier (around 7 PM) and it's open on Sunday mornings from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Bring a cap and a padlock!
