This pleasant, clean pool bills itself as a swim school but lap swimming is available. It has a roof but is open on one side. I swam at midday on a weekday and had a lane to myself. The cost was $3 to $4 for one hour. A cap and goggles are required. I bought a cap at facility. The changing rooms and showers are basic. There is free parking beside the building. It's a 20 to 25-minute cab ride from Mérida's central historic area. Send a text to the phone number an hour or so before you go to confirm an available lane.
