This is a new facility that opened the spring of 2023 replacing an older 50-meter Åbybadet and a temporary 25-meter facility that was built across the street.

The 50-meter pool is reserved for both exercisers and elite swimmers. Here everyone can swim at their own pace. When the 50m pool is open, two speed lanes and a wider lane for exercise swimming are normally available; it isonly for those who want to swim. If you want to play, dive or learn to swim, choose the 25-meter pool or one of the facility's play pools, instead.
