A reasonably maintained facility close to the city central business district. A short walk will see you there. Not overly crowded, especially during the day. It has a nice “country town” feel about it. Has a diving facility.

The facility was originally known as the "World War II Memorial Complex" and was renamed "2nd World War Memorial Aquatic Centre" in September, 2014.
The 50m pool was refurbished and the 25m pool was added in the first half of 2014.
