This pool is an odd length –19 or 20 yards - and the staff has no idea what size it is. They told me that it was 25 yards… It's indoors, typically a little too warm, and lacks backstroke flags. The lanes are narrower than normal (presumably to give the illusion of a normal length pool), which makes sharing lanes a little cozier than normal. The gutter system is old-school, so the outer lanes get wave problems. Its swimmable, but not the best.
(We think we were able to resolve the issue with a telephone call. Eighteen meters sounds about right for an odd-length pool so, unless someone knows otherwise for sure, we're going with that length. -Eds.]
