In March 2019 we finished Virginia, the last U.S. state in our second full review of the database, and started on Germany. This pool listings update also reports a net 18 new listings.
Listing reviews
We finished reviewing all of our listings in Virginia in March. Virginia was the last of the U.S. states to be re-examined in our second full review of the database, which began in November 2014.
Next we turned to Germany, where we are getting through about ten or eleven listings a day on average. We do not speak the language, but German pool websites are easy to work with using an online translation service. They are also very complete in terms of the data we collect for a listing, so we have to send very few emails to fill in missing details.
We are halfway through the German state of Baden-Württemberg. When we finish there, we plan to go back to Maine to begin the cycle of U.S. states again, then move to Bavaria in Germany, then to Massachusetts, and so on.
New listings
We added only 18 new listings (net) in March. One of them, in El Segundo, California, will interest our Southern California readers: the El Segundo Wiseburn Aquatics Center listing has the full information.
