April 2022: Pennsylvania and France Reviews, and Singapore Featured
In April 2022 we reviewed 137 of Pennsylvania's 271 listings, repaired 369 French listings and netted 15 new listings. Our Pool of the Month is an entire country, Singapore, with two of its best-known pools.
Work in Pennsylvania and France filled April 2022, and the database grew by a net of 15 pool listings. For this update's Pool of the Month we chose a whole country, Singapore.
Site activity
During April we continued our review of the listings in Pennsylvania, where we have now checked 137 of the state's 271 listings.
We also made good progress in France. A French correspondent told us a couple of months ago about 455 listings that needed attention, and we have so far repaired the broken links and updated the listing information for 369 of them.
Pool of the Month
Rather than a single facility, we selected an entire country for April: Singapore. It has 55 listings in an area of just 283 square miles (733 square kilometers), with about 5.5 million people, and many of its public swimming centers have two 50-meter pools. Among them is the Tampines Swimming Complex, and the Marina Bay Sands hotel adds an infinity pool 55 stories above the ground. Read why Singapore is so swimmer-friendly.
