Golden Isles YMCA

This is a nice, older, well-kept facility. The indoor pool is available much of the day for lap swimming. The outdoor, seasonal pool was closed during my visit but looks equally capable. There are nice locker rooms with separate "wet" areas.

It's still just $10 for a drop-in visit. Bring an ID and correct change. The Embassy Suites in Brunswick is a short-ish walk to the Y.

I swam at the YWCA [Now YMCA Eds.] recently, the cost was $10 for a single visit and they gave me a one week pass on exit, which I gladly took advantage of. The outdoor 50 meter pool had lane ropes and I swam laps with the local swim team.It is a really nice facility. The indoor 25 yard pool was open too.
